The MS-HD-10 is a versatile hobby metal detector that is capable of operating on many different terrains. The quality of the electronics is of superb quality that results in an easy to use detector where a considerable amount of functions is integrated and fully automatic. On the outside only the necessary dialers are mounted to take care of a precise adjustment for terrain use.

MS-HD-10 is, due to its outstanding electronics, capable of locating all
kind of lost objects like jewelry and coins on cultivated land, in
forests, at beaches etc. The search head is even capable of submerging
into shallow water. Small objects can be detected at relatively large
depths. The electronics takes care for exact pinpointing, regardless the
diameter of the search head (20 cm)
MS-HD-10 Functies
Sens dialer:
The purpose of the Sens-dialer (also battery test) is to adjust the sensitivity of the metal detector. At terrains where interference is picked up from i.e. power pylons or where the depth range must be reduced, the sens dialer can be adjusted. This will seldom be necessary due to the well designed integrated filters.
Rejecting unwanted metals
Disc dialer:
The purpose of the Disc-dialer (discriminator and on /
off switch) is to reject unwanted metals like iron, aluminium foil, beer
caps, pull tabs etc. At the same time precious object like juwelry and
coins will be accepted.

Nauwkeurig lokaliseren
Target drukknop schakelaar:
Het indrukken van de terugverende “Target” drukknop schakelaar is onder andere bedoeld om voorwerpen zeer nauwkeurig te kunnen lokaliseren. Hierbij wordt de Disc-regelaar buiten werking gesteld. Wanneer de Target wordt ingeschakeld, komt de detector automatisch in de stand “non-motion” en “all metal” te staan.
Hierbij zoekt
de detector naar alle metalen waaronder ook ijzer. Bij nadering van een
voorwerp wordt een voortdurende “basistoon” (zachte toon) hoorbaar. De
toon zwelt aan naarmate het voorwerp dichter het centrum van de
zoekschotel nadert.
De
Target drukknop schakelaar heeft een terugverende stand zodat deze alleen
maar ingedrukt hoeft te worden om de exacte plaats van een object te
kunnen bepalen. De schakelaar komt automatisch terug in de Disc-stand.
Motion
discriminator:
Standaard is de
Disc-regelaar in werking waarbij er geen variabele toon hoorbaar is en
waarbij de detector in de “motion” stand staat. De detector is dan
stil totdat er een voorwerp wordt gelokaliseerd. Ongewenste voorwerpen die
met de Disc-regelaar zijn weggeregeld, zullen niet of middels een
afwijkend signaal worden waargenomen.
Grondontstoring:
Wat is
Grondontstoring? Op sommige plaatsen wordt succesvol werken met een
metaaldetector bemoeilijkt door mineralisatie dat o.a. kan worden
veroorzaakt door ijzerafzetting, ijzeroxidatie of nat zout zand. In de
praktijk zal de detector reageren alsof er metaal aanwezig is, terwijl
dit niet het geval is. Daarom is de MS-HD-10 uitgerust met een automatische
grondontstoring die zich op vrijwel alle terreinen aanpast.
Oplaadbare
batterijen:
Het is mogelijk de MS-HD-10 uit te rusten met oplaadbare batterijen. De voeding bestaat standaard uit 2 X 9 Volt blok batterijen. De staat van de (oplaadbare) batterijen is te controleren met een schakelstand die in de Sens-regelaar is geďntegreerd genaamd “Batt-Test”.
